The fifth book of the Stormlight Archive is the planned ending to the front half of the series.[2] It will be released around Fall of 2024, and its title will have the initials KoWT or KoW.[1][3]

- The first progress update was published on Reddit on September 6th, 2022, and featured a piece of concept art created by Randy Vargas.

- More of Roshar's queer characters will be canonized in Book Five, as stated by Brandon Sanderson. It is not known yet who this will be. [11]
