Iri had been one of the Silver Kingdoms on Roshar.

History

By the time of the Era of Solitude, the western portion of Iri had split off to form the kingdom of Rira.

Axies the Collector, an Aimian, visited Iri to look for spren.

Rysn and her babsk, Vstim, visited Iri, and Rysn managed to offend the Iriali.^{[citation needed]}

Geography

The largest city in Iri was Rall Elorim, City of Shadows, followed closely by Kasitor, City of Lightning. Many people in Kaisitor worshiped Cusicesh the Protector, a giant spren, as a deity. Iri also contained the city of Eila. Due to its northwestern position on Roshar, Iri was warmer than most other nations.

People & Culture

The Iriali have metallic golden-blond hair that bred true. Many Alethi considered the a lock of the golden hair of the Iriali to be good luck. The Iriali were very particular about chastity laws, and disliked public nudity. The men often wore only waist wraps on warmer days. The Iriali also painted their skin with colors and patterns. The Iriali tended to be less quarrelsome and prudish than the Vorin nations. They mostly had yellow eyes.
