Hashal was the wife of Brightlord Matal in Sadeas warcamp on the Shattered Plains on Roshar. She had dark hair and pale blue eyes. She had a Kholinar accent.[1]
She bought the slaves from Tvlakv so she bought Kaladin too. She let tell Lamaril and Gaz "that the tall one is to be given special treatment", which meant Kaladin.[2] Later, after the execution of Lamaril, her husband Matal got command of the bridge crews on the Shattered Plains.[1]
