Ym is an Iriali cobbler, who owns his own shop, on Roshar. He provides free shoes to street urchins who need them, asking only that they tell him their stories in return.[1]

Wyndle implied that the cultivationspren considered bonding Ym, which would have allowed him access to the Surges of Progression and Abrasion.[3]

He was killed by Nale in his attempt of stopping the True Desolation by killing new Radiants.[1]
