Lost Metal Summary Page

I have to humbly request you to stop making incorrect changes to the Lost Metal Summary page, such as replacing all mentions of Trell with Telsin, which is explicitly incorrect. Especially in various chapters such as Chapter 19 which mark an explicit separation between Trell and Telsin. I apologize if this is coming off as rude, but it is a lot of work to undo all of that, and requires rereading basically each chapter to fix the mistakes. I am so sorry. I actually wasn't aware about that. I just have one question. If both Trell and Telsin were mentioned in a chapter. Which should be named? I have the e book. And I'd feel most gratitude if you'd let me fix them. Adamkarma (talk) 19:20, 29 December 2022 (UTC)

Sorry about my aggression, that was uncalled for, I was just really stressed and didn't make sure to retain formality, so I apologize. And the answer to your question, use both when both are mentioned; and when just Telsin or just Trell is mentioned, only including the one mentioned in question. Dedicated Chapter Summary Pages

Hi Adamkarma,

I see that it looks like you intend to make dedicated Way of Kings chapter summary pages. This is a very old, long term objective we have wanted to do, like the Words of Radiance dedicated chapter summary pages. I just wanted to let you know that the purpose of the dedicated pages is to give a more detailed, in-depth look at the chapter, such as Summary:Words of Radiance/Prologue. It is extremely important these dedicated chapter pages are not to be copies of the main summary page--otherwise, the dedicated page is fairly useless. Keep this in mind as you proceed. The work is not the page creation, but the content in doing a more detailed summary. It's a lot of work! I took a quick look at some Words of Radiance ones, and it seems this guidance is not followed there, so I wanted to let you know of the intent of what those pages should be before you really get into it.

There are not as firm of guidelines on dedicated chapter summary pages, so please reach out on Discord or the forums (though Discord is fastest) if you have questions.

Additionally, please reach out when you want to make new pages, such as these, like I have mentioned a few times to you. That would be the part where we could explain, say, structurally what's going on in this case. Thanks! -- Chaos2651 (talk) 06:18, 18 May 2023 (UTC)

Hi Chaos,

I was not aware of the fact that the dedicated chapter summaries should not be copied, as I had seen many chapter that are copied, though not all of them.

I'll try and do the dedicated chapter summary for the prologue of the Way of Kings, and see how it turns out.

I was wondering if a Keeper may create the template for the Way of Kings summaries, I've made it so a Keeper could just review it and create it, here it is ([1])
