Silajana is one of the primal aethers from an unknown world. Like all aethers they predated the Shattering, though their religious followers argue they even predate Adonalsium. They were eager to assist the Ghostbloods in their mission to prevent Autonomy from taking over Scadrial. but also seemed reluctant to simply kill soldiers of the Set and asked his aetherbound to offer them surrender. Notably he is bonded to Prasanva.
