Rial is an Alethi guard in Bridge Thirteen with a Koron accent.

Appearance and Personality

Navani considers him "greasy," but Dalinar likes him because he considers him similar to members of his elite squad.[1]

History

After the move to Urithiru he became a regular guard of Dalinar becoming friendly with him.[2]

At one point he spiked Dalinar's canteen with alcohol.[1]

He guards Dalinar on the first trip to Thaylen City and is present during Dalinar's duel with Kdralk.[3]

He offers Dalinar some alcohol just prior to him being branded a heretic by the curates of the Holy Enclave.[4]
