Lopen's mother is a Herdazian woman. Her name is not currently known. At some point during the War of Reckoning she and her family moved to Little Herdaz, a section of Highprince Sebarial's warcamp on the Shattered Plains.[1] They now live in Urithiru along with many of the inhabitants of the former warcamps.[2]
She speaks Alethi with a thick accent, and could be extremely forceful in personality. When a wounded King Elhokar was recovering in Little Herdaz, Lopen's mother forced the king to eat despite his objections.
