Talata is a Kholin scribe who lives on the Shattered Plains during the War of Reckoning.

Dalinar tells Adolin that Talata needs to review Highprince Bethab's chull contracts with Elhokar.[1] Bethab had previously tried to slip language into a contract that would give him favor in a succession.[1] Talata is presumably the best scribe in the Kholin warcamp for this task, as Dalinar asks for her by name.
