Northgrip is a city in northern Jah Keved, next to the Reshi Sea and near Herdaz.[1]

Helaran Davar bought his sister Shallan some drawing supplies from a merchant in Northgrip.[2]
After arriving on the Shattered Plains, Shallan sends a message back to her family via Northgrip. Northgrip was far away from the battles in the Jah Keved civil war, and Shallan hoped a letter would get through to them in the chaos.[3]
