The Frostlands were the sparsely populated[citation needed], southeastern portion of the continent of Roshar outside the official boundaries of Alethkar.[1]

Important locations in the Frostlands included Kharbranth, the Unclaimed Hills, the Shattered Plains, Dawn's Shadow, New Natanan, and the Shallow Crypts.
