Breachtrees are a type of plant native to Roshar.[1]

Breachtrees produce a type of cotton, which create a scratchy but warm fabric, often used to make coats.[1]

Kaladin had a breachtree coat as a young man.[1]

Lin Davar traded in breachtree cotton. In 1170, Brightlord Revilar forced Davar to trade his breachtree cotton and raw shum at an incredible discount to gain much-needed influence with Revilar.[2]

Zahel wears an old worn out breachtree cotton robe, which he ties at his waist with a rope, when he fights Kaladin.[3]
