The Ten Essences is the traditional Vorin term associated with both Soulcasting properties and the Heralds.
Soulcasting
Each essence is connected with a type of gemstone,[1] In order to soulcast a Soulcaster must use the correct gemstone for each type of material they wish to transform something into.
Vorinisum
Modern Vorin teachings connect each essence with a Herald and that Herald's divine attributes. It is unknown whether the heralds or the orders of Knights Radiant originally associated themselves a specific gemstone or essence.
