Zawfix is a city in northeastern Azir on Roshar.[1] It lies at the foot of a mountain range between Azir and Yulay.[2]

History[edit]
It was said that when the Sunmaker invaded Azir in the seventh century in the Vorin calendar, he murdered ten percent of the population, and that highstorms piled bones as high as buildings in Zawfix. Yanagawn reminded Dalinar Kholin of this when they spoke about the possibility of a coalition in one of Dalinar's visions.[3]

Zawfix has shanties built inside of old mines to protect them from highstorms. When Lift encounters shanties in Yeddaw, she recalls seeing them in Zawfix.[4]
