He enjoys Alethi epics and has read both An Accountability of Virtue and its sequel, surprising Ellista. He appears to have a mischievous streak, intentionally provoking Ellista regarding the book.[1]

History

Urv is one of the ardents working on translating Bendthel's collection of the Dawnchant, but makes less progress than Ellista. He gets stuck working on the Covad Fragment, as he does not realize that it isn't truly Dawnchant, but rather a phonetic transcription of another language. He offers to lend Ellista the sequel to An Accountability of Virtue in exchange for her help translating a section of Dawnchant for one of his patrons.[1]
