Smolderbrand is, presumably, a spren that lives near the Sea of Oracles, a subsection of the Sea of Lost Lights.[1] Smolderbrand is female,[1] but her variety of spren is unknown. There is a channel named after her, the Smolderbrand Channel.[1] It is plausible she makes residence near the channel.

At some point near the advent of the True Desolation, Nazh encountered Smolderbrand and stole a map of the Sea of Lost Lights.[1]
