Shaday is a Highlord and member of the Kholin army in Alethkar on Roshar.[1]
As a Highlord, he is presumably a lighteyes of the third dahn. He is part of a strike team that attempts to retake the Oathgate during the Siege of Kholinar.[1] He appears to be a high-ranking military leader, as he discusses strategy with King Elhokar, Azure, Adolin, and other Highlords.[1] Shaday holds out hope that the Voidbringers and members of the corrupted Palace Guard may turn on each other, but Elhokar dismisses the possibility.[1] Although a few individuals make it to the Oathgate,[2] the Kholin army is overrun by the Singers.[3] Shaday's fate is unknown, but he was likely killed or enslaved along with the other defenders of Kholinar.
