Nalanar is a lighteyed military commander from Jah Keved on Roshar. He is referred to as "Brightlord";[1] since he commands an army, he is of a high dahn.
His forces fought against Dalinar Kholin's army at Slickrock, barely losing the battle.[1] One of his former infantrymen, Geved, met Dalinar in Vedenar after the Veden civil war. They discussed Slickrock and the Thrill.[1]
