Malan is a lighteyed Alethi on Roshar.[1]
He is a captainlord of the Cobalt Guard and participates in the Battle of the Tower. After refusing to leave behind Adolin, he and his squad follow Kaladin to rescue Dalinar from the Parshendi Shardbearer, Eshonai.[1]
