A Maakian is a follower of a religion on Roshar.[1] Jasnah Kholin thought that, beside people who truly seek wisdom, Maakian, like Vorins, heretics, or Ysperists, are close-minded.

Those who truly seek wisdom are those who will acknowledge the virtue in their adversaries and who will learn from those who disabuse them of error. All others - heretic, Vorin, Ysperist, or Maakian - are equally closed-minded ”
