Longbrow is a Thaylen historical figure who sailed the seas of Roshar in the mid-late 700s. A proud figure, Longbrow was regarded as boastful by Nikliasorm, with whom he sailed and by whom he was liked. He died circa 774. It is unknown whether Longbrow's Straights are named for this figure or whether Longbrow and the straights themselves are both named for the long eyebrows of the Thaylen people.
