Javih is a captain in Kholin army during the Battle of Narak.[1]
He delivers a tactical report to Dalinar but is interrupted by a messenger reporting the fall of Brightlord Teleb and the routing of Roion's army, Highprince Roion himself being trapped by soldiers. Dalinar responds by sending Javih to collect the reserves for a rescue.
