The highprinces were regional rulers of the sub-states in the kingdoms of Alethkar and Jah Keved, and presumably in other countries, too.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content
They originally were disparate rulers, each ruling in autonomy. Gavilar Kholin conquered and united ten of them, creating the kingdom of Alethkar.
