Dod is a member of the Kholinar Palace guard.[1] He had met Adolin before, likely when Adolin lived in the Kholinar Palace. During the Siege of Kholinar, Dod fought for the enemy side, having been influenced by the Unmade in Kholinar at the time. During the initial fighting, Dod went down. Instead of crying or groaning, Dod only whispered to himself. The whispering could be because of the Unmade, or it could be that Dod was muttering a Death Rattle. During the assault on the Kholinar Palace, Adolin passed Dod while a surgeon worked on him.
