Breakneck was a game commonly played by the Vorin peoples of Roshar during the Era of Solitude.[1][2]

Breakneck was played with stones,[2] and involved throws and tosses and draws.[1] However, the Rosharans would not bet on the the outcome, rather they would bet on the hand that they held after all the throws and draws.

There were three known types of throws in breakneck.[2] The first was known as the tower, and was made up of three pairs, which was an outright loss. The second was the queen, and it was composed of two trios, an outright win. The final known throw was the butcher, which was made from a trio and a pair, which could win, depending on your other throws and the throws of others.

Breakneck was played fairly widely, in both gambling dens and among the common darkeyes.[1][2]
