Bashin was a short man with a large belly, and wore rugged clothing, a leather overcoat, and a wide-brimmed hat.
Pre-hunt advice was one of his responsibilities, which he took seriously. He had said cheerfully that the day would be a good hunt, as the chasmfiend they were hunting was massive. Bashin had used hogs as bait for the chasmfiend, and intended to let a group of wild hogs to distract the beast as the Alethi used grandbows to weaken it.
