“Is he dead?”
—Alabet, after Kaladin felled the unnamed Shardbearer.[1]
Alabet was a darkeyed soldier in Amaram's army in Alethkar on Roshar[1] He was one of the four survivors of Kaladin's squad--along with Hab, Reesh, and Coreb--after the attack of an unnamed Veden Shardbearer. Kaladin killed the Shardbearer, but refused the Shards.
Later, Amaram betrayed Kaladin, and Alabet and Hab had their knives out, but one of Amaram's guards slew Hab and two cut down Alabet.[2]
