Vet is a bridge sergeant of Bridge Eighteen during the War of Reckoning on Roshar.[1]
Vet is earnest, but he does not have an authoritative presence; he is socially awkward and tends to beg his men to do something instead of commanding them. While evaluating the various bridge crews, Kaladin noted that Vet's weakness was further exposed by the dejected and fractured nature of Bridge Eighteen. He considered reassigning the men to other platoons if he could not help Vet motivate them.[1]
