Uses
The smoke from leaves and stalks of the truthberry plant can be intoxicating and induce euphoria when inhaled.The berries have are edible and do not have any harmful side effects.[1]
Jam is frequently made from the berries.[1]
Lore
Legends say that after consuming either the berry or the jam made form it, one will speak the truth until the next sunset. People often gather to burn the leaves and stalks and eat the berries. This often results in "rather interesting nights."[1]
History
While on a picnic Shallan and Kabsal eat some truthberry jam and he tells her about the legends and she replies that she is surprised it is not called birthberry.[1]
