The Coppermind has spoilers for all of Brandon's published works, now including The Sunlit Man. Stormfather was a colloquial term for the Shard Honor on Roshar during the Era of Solitude, and was often used as a curse. It's usage stemmed from the belief that the Almighty sent the highstorms.
