Insah is an ardent in the Kholin warcamp's monastery. She was in charge of Sash building, where Taln was kept during his stay at the Shattered Plains. Her devotary is not known, though it is not the same as Kadash's.

Like most residents of the warcamp, Insah's departure for Urithiru was abrupt, which lead to her leaving most of her paperwork behind at the monastery.

While investigating Taln's disappearance, Dalinar searches Insah's office, where he finds a safe containing her records on the Herald's treatment, which he later delivers to Navani.[1]
