History
Prior to the the Kholin assault on the Rift in 1163, Tanalan tricked Dalinar into thinking that Torol Sadeas had betrayed him and planned to attack him using the guise of a caravan. Dalinar ordered Horinar to gather a company of a hundred elites, those who were fastest, to march with Dalinar to investigate the caravan.[1] However, Tanalan sprung a trap and caused a landslide to fall on Dalinar, killing many of his men.[2] It is not known if Horinar was among those killed.
