Hadinar is a battalionlord in the Kholinar Wall Guard on Roshar.[1]
Appearance and Personality
He is a "stocky, bejowled fellow."[1] Like the rest of the Wall Guard, he is lighteyed,[2] presumably of the fourth dahn due to his rank. He is trusted by Highmarshal Azure.[1]
History
Hadinar commanded one of the four battalions of the Wall Guard under Azure.[2] He is one of her primary officers, and appears to be the one that she trusts the most. He is aware of several secrets held by Azure, including her gender and the method that she was using to prevent detection of a soulcaster by the screamers. He was Azure's only officer present at a meeting with Kaladin when he revealed his mission under Elhokar and the existence of the Oathgates.[1] It is not known how Hadinar came to be in Azure's inner circle.
