During one of Kaladin's first bridgeruns, Gadol took a Parshendi arrow in his side and suffered a gash on his temple.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content Kaladin tried to save him, but the wound was too serious and Kaladin did not have the surgical tools to try to use, so Gadol spoke a death rattle and then died.
