Mishinah Bethab is a lighteyed member of the Alethi nobility. She is married to Highprince Bethab.[1]
Appearance and Personality
She is mousy, and has orange eyes with a pinched face.[1] She is skilled at navigating Alethi politics.[1]
History
Mishinah's history is not known, but Bethab married her for her political acumen.[1] She often attends political meetings in lieu of her husband.[2][1] Although some of Bethab's soldiers do not respect this arrangement, it has generally benefited House Bethab.[1]
Mishinah informs Dalinar that House Bethab will not join his assault on the Parshendi at the end of the War of Reckoning.[2]
After the Battle of Narak and the activation of the Oathgates, she is seen at a meeting of Alethi nobility in Urithiru. Mishinah and several other highprinces have concerns about providing basic services (such as food, water, and plumbing) to the many new citizens of Urithiru, but Navani Kholin is able to quell their fears.[1] Mishinah's questions also imply that she is concerned about Navani seizing power in Dalinar's absence when he temporarily flees to Vedenar.[1]
