Ved is a member of Kholinar Wall Guard.. He is part of Platoon Seven Squad Four. He is, like Beard, well acquainted with Kaladin. He and Beard help teach Kaladin what to do in the Kholinar Wall Guard. He helps defend Kholinar when Fused attacked, using a pike with Beard. He follows Kaladin into Kholinar palace for the Battle of Kholinar. Because he is not mentioned afterwards, he probably dies along with the rest of the squad.
