The Order of Stonewards was an order of the Knights Radiant on Roshar.
The Stonewards were Surgebinders who used the two Surges, and they absorb Stormlight from gems. So far it is not know what powers the Stonewards had. The glow of their Shardplate was amberCite error: Invalid <ref>

Historical
The Stonewards exemplifyed resolve, strength, and dependability.
In Words of Radiance The Author notes that the Stonewards were more than any other order match in nature and temperament to their Herald.
They were however also described as stubborn to a fault.
Known Stonewards
- The patron of the Stonewards was Talenel, Stonesinew, Herald of War.
- Talatin was a member of the Order of the Stonewards, before the Recreance.

Ideals of the Stonewards
The Ideals of the Knights Radiant, also known as the Immortal Words, are a set of rules by which the Radiant lived. The First Ideal, identical for all orders of the Radiants, is used as their motto. Each of the Radiant Orders then had an additional four ideals that were unique to each order.
