Timbre is a spren who Venli rescues during the second Interlude of Oathbringer from a cadre of Fused after Odium denies a Fused possession of Venli during an Everstorm, seemingly to use Venli as a historian/preacher of Odium and the desolation's to other newly freed Parshmen around Roshar. Venli had previously seen a spren similar to Timbre near the corpse of her sister, Eshonai in the first Interlude of Oathbringer. There is nothing to indicate that they are the same spren, however they are certainly the same type of spren. Venli later says the first Ideal of the Knight's Radiant forming a Nahel bond with Timbre, it is unclear at this time whether this is a new type of surge-binding spren, or a pre-existing order of Knight Radiant.
