Talenel, nicknamed Taln, and called Talenelat in the Vorin religion is one of the Ten Heralds of the Almighty.

Talenel was the only Herald who died in the Last Desolation, he was abandoned by the other Heralds when they chose to walk away rather then return the place of torment that they were trapped in between the Desolations.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content

At the end of The Way of Kings he appeared at the gates of Kholinar dazed and confused. He introduced himself as Talenel'Elin, Stonesinew, Herald of the Almighty. He gave warning of a new Desolation, and promptly collapsed.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content
