Talanor is an Alethi Shardbearer who fights on the Shattered Plains of Roshar during the War of Reckoning.[1]
Talanor only has a Shardblade, he does not own a suit of Shardplate.[1] As none of the full Shardbearers would accept his challenge to duel for Shards, Adolin Kholin decides to try challenging Talanor. He feels that Talanor is eager for notoriety, and would accept for the chance to gain prestige, as well as Adolin's Shards. However, it appears that he also denies Adolin's challenge.
