Simol is a historical figure mentioned in Words of Radiance.[1] He lived on Roshar at some point prior to the Day of Recreance.
Simol was presumably a person of some importance, and the Order of Edgedancers visited him or his lands. When he heard that they were coming, he was terrified.[1]
