Nem was an artifabrian on Roshar.[2]

Attributes and Abilities

Nem was a lensmaker, astronomer and gemstone expert.[1] She was one of Navani's trusted scholars and handled expensive and delicate equipment. She was able to conclude that the black sphere was nearly flawless and did not originate from a gemheart.[2]

History

Nem was a member of Navani's team of scholars. She examined the black sphere that Gavilar gave to Szeth. She concluded that the sphere was practically perfect and could hold Stormlight for a large amount of time. Navani asked her and Talnah to study the black sphere.[2]. Both of them died in an explosion caused by the sphere.[1]
