Namar is a person on Roshar who developed a theory on how spren could be categorized.[1]

Namar believes that spren can be divided into two groups, those associated with human emotions and those associated with physical forces.[1]

Jasnah Kholin and Shallan Davar both subscribed to Namar's theory and briefly discussed it during Shallan's wardship.[1]
