Shallan's brothers found a pendent with the symbol of the ghostbloods on him after he died.
Nan Balat thinks that he was a contact between the people who came for the Soulcaster and their father.

He was a confidant and adviser to Lin Davar. He was trained to use the family Soulcaster.
