A Grandbow or Shardbow was a large bow tall as a man and made of steel. It had a fabrial at the center that kept the bow supple. Even though the fabrial made the bow of steel more flexible only a man wearing a Shardplate could draw it. The arrows used with a grandbow were as thick as a three fingers, and quite long.
Grandbows were first used during the chasmfiend hunt by Highprince Sadeas to attack the Chasmfiend.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content
