Beard is an eccentric member of the Kholinar Wall Guard.

He tells outrageous stories that nobody believes[1]. He dies fighting the voidbringers (Meaning singers and fused) invading the palace[2], and Kaladin later reminisces that he and Lopen would have made great friends.[2]
