Taln's Scar is a celestial object visible from Roshar and is one of the most striking features in Roshar's night sky. It is a swatch of stars that glow a deep red in contrast to the twinkling white stars across the rest of the sky.[1] Its position on one's seventh birthday is relevant in Rosharan astrology.[2]

Cosmere

Taln's Scar is visible from other worlds in the Cosmere. It is known as the Red Rip on Scadrial and the Starbelt on Threnody.[4] [5]
