Trelagism was a religion on Scadrial that worshiped the god Trell. It was primarily practiced by the Nelazan people before the Ascension of the Lord Ruler and the establishment of the Final Empire.[2]

It was created by Autonomy, as a way for her to seed herself into Scadrian culture for when she decides to encroach upon it.[3]

Trelagism may have diverged from its original beliefs after the Catacendre. Miles Dagouter, Edwarn Ladrian, and others are self-proclaimed followers of Trellism,[6][7] which they believe traces its roots to the religion of Trelagism as described in the Words of Founding.[6][3]

Trelagism and Trellism both worship the same entity, Trell, or Autonomy. Although the exact teachings appear to differ, with members of the Set having far more knowledge about the nature of Autonomy and the threat she poses to Scadrial if they fail in their mission.[3]

Cosmere[edit]

There is no substantial link between Trelagism and the dualist religion of the Purelakers concerning Nu Ralik and Vun Makak.[8] It is unclear whether the god Nalt has any connection to the planet Nalthis.[9]
