Teur is a resident of a small village of the Eastern Dominance.[1]
He witnesses old Jed die, killed by the Deepness. He explains what he saw to Sazed, and questions Sazed's choice of funeral rites. He is married, and says that his wife can testify that he's never been out in the mists. He has a reputation for tall tales.[1]
