Olid served as Quellion's foreign minister in Urteau after the Collapse.[1]

Olid brought news that Elend Venture, emperor of the New Empire, had captured Vetitan and obtained a new koloss army.[1] He had heard rumors that Elend sent a member of the Survivor's crew--which was Spook--to offer them a peace treaty. Olid advised Quellion to take it, as he did not believe that Urteau could defeat Elend and his armies.
